Terms & Conditions

UPON ENTERING ACMECO YOU AGREE TO THE BELOW TERMS & CONDITIONS  Warranty:    All   repairs   (with   the   exception   of   software)   come   with   a   3   or   6month   warranty.   This   excludes   faults   relating   to   physical   or   accidental   damage   or   if   the device   is   opened   whilst   in   your   possession.   If   the   nature   of   the   repair   falls   outside   the   terms   of   your   warranty   or   guarantee,   then   you   may   incur   a   charge   for   the repair.   Invoice   must   be   presented   for   any   warranty   claims .   Our   warranty   does   not   cover   repairs   on   Wi-Fi   Faults   on   the   iPhone   4   and   4S.If   you   take   your   device to   a   third   party   after   it   has   been   repaired   by   ACMECO   this   will   void   the   ACMECO   warranty   on   your   device.   All   software   related   repairs   will   not   be   covered   by   our warranty.   The   warranty   only   covers   the   original   repair.   For   example,   if   you   pay   for   a   screen   repair   and   the   screen   becomes   faulty,   you   will   be   covered   with   a   six months   warranty.   If   any   additional   faults   occur   that   are   not   related   to   the   original   repair   this   will   not   be   covered   under   warranty   and   will   need   to   be   paid   for. Repair   Process   &   Delays:   We   aim   to   repair   your   device   within   24-48   hours   of   receiving   it.   This   is   just   an   aim   we   target   as   a   company,   this   is   not   a   promise,   as every   repair   varies   in   time   and   difficulty.   Although   most   of   all   repairs   get   done   on   the   same   day,   sometimes   we   encounter   further   issues   that   slow   the   repair down.   If   for   any   reason   your   repair   will   take   longer,   you   will   be   notified   with   the   reason   and   the   estimated   completion   date.   If   we   need   to   order   in   new   parts,   the repair   process   may   be   delayed.   We   will   keep   you   updated   throughout   the   whole   process.   Please   be   aware   diagnostics   may   take   longer   than   usual   repairs   ACMECO technicians   take   time   to   look   at   every   element   of   the   device   and   check   for   faulty   parts.   Please   be   advised   we   cannot   guarantee   your   device   will   be   repaired   after we   diagnose   the   fault.   With   screen   repairs   on   Samsung   Devices   there   is   always   a   chance   of   the   LCD   breaking   due   to   the   optical   glues   bonding   the   glass   to   the   LCD,        however   occasionally   the   LCD   may   break,   before   this   happens,   we   always   notify   the   customer   and   the   procedure   about   to   happen   and   the   chance   of   it   breaking, and   ask   for   permission   to   carry   on,   as   we   will   not   be   liable   for   the   cost   of   the   replacement   LCD.   Any   Motherboard   related   repairs   can   take   up   to   7   -   14   days.   Any software   related   repairs   can   take   up   to   1   -   14   days.   Any   time   estimate   for   completion   of   the   repair   service,   which   may   be   given   to   you,   is   an   estimate   only   and   does not   form   any   obligation   under   the   terms   of   this   agreement.   Water   Proof   Repairs:   Mobile   devices   that   are   sold   as   being   waterproof   are   originally   sealed   in   the manufacturer’s   factory   with   special   machines   and   special   liquid   proof   gaskets.   When   we   carry   out   a   repair   on   a   waterproof   device   that   involves   opening   and closing   the   device   we   cannot   guarantee   that   your   device   will   be   100%   waterproof   after   the   repair   process   has   been   completed.   We   replace   all   gaskets   required   but only   the   manufacturers   of   the   device   have   access   to   the   specialized   equipment   required.   However,   we   always   use   grade   A   parts   and   use   the   best   possible techniques.

any cost of a approved repair must be finalized  regardless if you have forgotten the account login or purchased second-hand or handed down you the customer,

1. BACKUP   YOUR   DATA .   We   cannot   guarantee   your   handset   data   will   not   be   lost   as   a   result   of   the   repair.   If   in   doubt,   then   create   a   hard   copy   of your contacts. We cannot backup your data for you or provide a data retrieval service under any circumstances . 2. Although   not   usual,   if   the   handset   needs   to   be   chemical   and   ultrasonic   cleaned   (as   in   the   case   of   liquid   ingress   phones),   there   is   a   chance   that   the phone will not survive the cleaning process. 3. While   all   care   is   taken   in   the   handling   of   your   handset,   there   may   be   occasions   when   the   hardware   fails   due   to   CPU   failure   or   inter-board connection errors. It is impossible to predict when/if this will happen. 4. Unless   otherwise   informed,   we   will   proceed   with   a   repair   cost   up   to   $55.00.   If   the   handset   requires   further   work,   we   will   always   contact   you   with an estimate of the repair costs. 5. Any   equipment   not   collected   after   30   days   of   notification   by   us,   will   be   disposed   off   at   our   discretion,   to   recover   the   cost   of   any   completed   repairs and double handling costs. . 6. All   warranty   claims   must   be   accompanied   with   a   copy   of   our   invoice   within   the   warranty   period.   Claims   outside   our   normal   warranty   period   will   be treated   as   new   work   and   invoiced   accordingly.   Mobile   repairs   carry   a   3   or   6   months   warranty   on   our   workmanship   and   parts.   Water   damaged   phones carry   NO   warranty.   Warranty   claims   must   relate   to   the   original   work   performed   on   the   handset   i.e.   A   subsequent   speaker   failure   is   not   covered   if   the handset had a microphone repair. 7. On   some   occasions,   we   must   perform   work   on   the   handset   to   determine   the   actual   fault   so   that   we   can   provide   you   with   an   as   accurate   as possible repair estimate. Where you do not wish to proceed with the repair, we will reverse the work we may have performed to the handset. 8. It   takes   time   to   repair   mobile   phones.   Although   we   strive   to   turn   the   handset   repair   around   as   soon   as   practically   possible,   some   circumstances such   as   parts   availability   may   delay   the   repair/estimate.   We   will   always   contact   you   as   soon   as   we   have   a   repair   estimate   for   you   or   as   soon   as   the handset   is   repaired.   You   are   always   welcome   to   contact   us   if   you   have   not   heard   from   us,   but   please   note,   constant   update   queries   do   not   speed   the repair up - it may slow things down as staff are diverted away from repairs to fielding the queries. 9. Your   handset   is   booked   in   on   the   above   job   number   and   recorded   as   the   customer   reference   number   on   our   card.   DO   NOT   LOSE   THIS   CARD . You will need it to retrieve your handset - regardless if it has been repaired on not. 10. We   do   not   require   your   sim   card.   We   will   always   return   it   to   you   if   you   have   left   it   in   the   phone.   Please   let   us   know   at   the   time   of   booking   in   if   you do not have it.   11.                UNLOCKING   -   All   or   any   unlocks   or   unlocking   carries   no   warranty   what   so   ever   &   is   preformed   solely   at   the   customers   own   risk. ACMECO takes no responsibility of any or all malfunction, unable to send or receive mms ETC & call barred mobiles 12.   Passcodes   or   pattern   locks   are   required   to   test   and   finalize   any   mobile   repair   - ACMECO   respect   you   privacy. You   do   not   have   to   provide   us your   passcodes/pattern   lock,   however   we   cannot   preform   a   thorough   function   test   of   your   unit   and   any   faults   found   by   you   the   customer   nor related to original repair will incur additional cost. ACMECO are not affiliated with any Mobile manufactures and any warranty may be voided. ACMECO reserves the right to recycle or dispose of any unit as it sees fit after 90 days of completed repair, to recoup the cost associated with the repair. Insurance on any items left at our premises is the responsibility of the owner of the item. We will take all reasonable care but no liability in the event of loss or damage.
